The purpose of this policy
In order for us to be able to provide our services and find you the best jobs and projects, we need to collect certain data about you. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use that data. Should you have any questions on data protection at Talented, please contact us by using the information given in this policy.

 

For what purposes to we collect your data exactly?
We collect your data to find out the relevant professional information required for finding you the best jobs and/or projects. This means that we use this data for presenting your skills and employment history to potential employers and cooperation partners who are looking for talent in our platform.

 

What data do we collect?

Our platform comprises data given by individual talents about them.

 

In order to provide the potential employers and partners sufficient information about you, we request you to provide the following details:

 

– first name, last name
– email
– phone
– residence
– professional skills
– professional profile
– employment history

 

Where do we get the data?
We only collect the information you have given us upon registration to our platform or when we contact you.

 

Transfer of data outside of the EEA
As a rule, we do not store your data or allow access to the data from outside of the European Economic Area (“EEA”).

 

In certain cases our partners who offer jobs and projects and have access to the Talented platform may be located outside of the EEA and, therefore, may access your data from outside of the EEA. In such cases Talented ensures the legality of such data transfer by, for instance, signing the standard contractual clauses based on the applicable decision of the European Commission with such partner.

 

Security
Confidentiality is important to us. We process all data you give us confidentially and only by such personnel of Talented who need to access it to perform their duties. We give your data only to the companies you choose. Further, we have taken measures to ensure that your data is protected by appropriate technical and organizational measures such as encryption and access control.

 

How long do we process your data?
As a rule, we store your data for 2 years from the last contact with you.

 

Further, in certain cases we need to store certain data that is required for our rights and obligations related to the agreed, pending and/or performed assignments as long as necessary for ensuring such Talented’s rights and obligations regarding such assignments (e.g. invoicing and contractual liabilities) and accounting.

 

You may always request us to remove your data from our platform and erase your data to the extent it is not necessary for the above mentioned purposes.

 

What rights do you have?
You have the right to request accessing, erasing and correcting your personal data processed by Talented as well as send us any other requests based on the applicable laws such as request restriction of processing the data or having it transferred to another controller. Please send any requests concerning your data to the email addresses set out herein.

Data protection laws are supervised in Finland by the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman.
