    Hands-on CTO

    Location:Anywhere
Tech: The current technology is based on non-SQL (MongoDB) and NodeJS, although you will have a big role to state which way forward. Language requirement: English

Our customer is looking for a hands-on CTO to solve how to scale from 10M to 1000M users. Global venture, education sector, remote organisation.

What's needed? Seniority in technological know-how, a hands-on mindset, and customer first perspective.

As the company is transforming the business by scaling up, they need technological expertise. The mobile service works on any connected mobile device from feature phones to the latest smartphones and thus needs to be as robust as can be to allow seamless user experience. Where the company is currently at doesn’t dictate where they will go in the future. You have a core role in making the case of where the company will technologically develop within the next 24 months.

The company runs as a remote organisation, believes in a flat organisation that doesn’t really cater for non-hands on roles. The mission of the company requires a technologically proficient expert to ensure it has what it takes to technically scale up big time. The role is not only focused on strategic technological decision-making but also requires a can-do mindset whereby if and when need be, constructing, applying and testing a prototype feature is a case of ”sure, can do!”

    Location: Helsinki
Tech requirements: Node, Python, Go, Java, AWS, GCP, Agile
    Language requirement: English

We started with mobile development but didn’t stop there. In 2014, our developers became fascinated with cloud technologies, and that was it. We were hooked! Demand for our backend and cloud expertise has been increasing continuously, and that’s why we’re looking for Backend Developers and Cloud Architects to join our crew!

Lately, we have been using Node.js, and Python and its frameworks, Go and modern Java to bring our solutions to life, building them on top of AWS or GCP. None of our developers are masters of all the technologies we use, and we are not expecting you to be either. Solid programming skills in some (or even one) of the above and a hunger to learn will take you far. If you don’t have experience of cloud solutions yet, with us you’ll have the chance to take your first steps towards building those castles in the cloud.

If you are already an architect or aim to become one, you probably have a deep understanding of, for example, network design, serverless design patterns, container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker), cloud-native development and architecture designs. Your programming skills are on a good level, and you want to keep your hands on the keyboard in the future too.

    Location: Helsinki
Tech requirements: Robot Framework, Java, Python, C#, SQL, Jenkins
    Language requirement:Finnish, English

Test Automation Engineerina onnistuminen on tiimisuoritus!
